What is the Historic Riverton Criterium?

The Historic Riverton Criterium is an annual USA Cycling sanctioned bicycle race though the historic, tree lined streets of Riverton, New Jersey. A criterium is a short course (generally one mile), that participants navigate for a number of laps for a predetermined distance (usually 15-35 miles).  Races run consecutively and are distinguished by age, gender and qualified category. 


Since 2011 the Historic Riverton Criterium has been committed to promoting a premier cycling event while supporting Riverton and its surrounding communities by making financial contributions to various organizations and individual causes. To date the HRC has awarded over $40,000.  The HRC is a NJ nonprofit 501(c)(3
